Exercise has great short-term benefits for the brain, but it also helps with long-term health benefits and general mental health resiliency. Exercise helps with self-regulation, determination, and discipline. Talk with your doctor about what types of exercise are ok when you are pregnant and make sure to get guidance on exercise when you are in postpartum.
